Default JDM DC2 Problems

How the ---- do you get this bitch to line up right? the sides are lined up fine, but when i spot welded it all on there was about a 1 1/2" gap between the hood and the front of the radiator support? is there something that i'm supposed to line the rad. support up to?

do you remeber the post I posted you with when you first got in the wreck on how to line it up? theres a hole on all 4 corners, one near the corner lights, and one up by where the hinges are for the hood, there are holes there. you measure diagnally from corner to corner. FR to RF and so on. that will line you up. then you tighten the bolts as you go....

Chances are your going to have to do it the way sccaeg said. You got in a wreck so the way I did mine probably won't be a good way to do things... but, before I removed the radiato and core support, I marked where the edge of the USDM support was. then I just lined everything back up. You'll need about 4 clamps (vice grips if you can), that will make things alot easier for you. Oh yeah, you will also need to trim part of your chasis to get the headlights to fit correctly, but you'll see what i mean when it comes to that point. it's tough to describe.

by the way, that little trick works for just about any car....

I worked in a body shop as the clean up bitch all through-out high school. i know it works.

its just a little hard to explain over the net. but if you look under the hood you will know what im talkin about.
