Hi all, n00b here just starting to get the feel of FI. I'm seriously considering going FI on my B18A, I drive a 90 Integra. Right now it's got about 220k kms on it, not sure how much that is in miles, but i was wondering if i can still be able to run a turbo on this engine? or is it just going to detonate on me the first time i take it out on the road?! please help thanks

 

my engine has about 150-180K on it (im guessing), i dont even hessitate to boost on it, hell i beat the ---- out of it...

 

oh really? hmm i've still gotta run some compression tests along the cylinders to see if it's ok.. but i'm just a student.. if my engine blows up on me i'm really screwed ahha

 

yeah just make sure it has good compression, if it does then its a good motor. and should be just as good as a 2yo motor with the same compression numbers...

all within like 2% and high i think its like 180-190...

220K km is between 137 and 138K miles...boost that ----
My engine has ... uhmmm do not now third engine in the car and the meter is still running from the first one it's on 187K km.

 

unless u do internals stay low on the boost though!! even a brand new B16 couldnt do 15PSI, for very long that is.

 

Just get a S-AFC bigger injectors read about the AFC Hack and boost to 9 or 10 psi
