How much do you guys have in your setup?
For my accord to run 10psi stock block i have about 2g into the project, i was wondering for you custom guys if most of you run cheap ghetto *** setups or expensive top shelf stuff, or midrange... im guessing most people in here are ghetto rigging to the max..

 

Are we talking just the turbo setup? If I could make up my ------- mind and stop selling my ---- for different ---- I might be able to figure it out.

im workin on my ITB set-up. (I Know its not boost, but im hoping I can sell it for enough to buy a partial kit, then go from there) I have $130 so far into the ITB set-up. I have seen them go on ebay/honda-tech for like 400-ish.

so how much do I wanna spend on my kit. 600-

 

so far I've put $187 into my turbo project, almost there.

i spent about 2g+ on my setup as well. Thats because I upgraded a lot of parts on my engine that I knew was going to sooner or later need to be replaced for example clutch, disc, slave cylinder, etc... I tried not to buy the most expensive ---- but I definately did not settle for ghetto stuff from the junkyard just because I didnt want to be fixing my car every other day.

 

yea i got alot of expensive stuff that was not critical but id like to have, like an aluminum flywheel and a race clutch...

 

its one thing to boost a beater and its another to boost your only mode of transportation. better do it right the first time or dont bother to do it at all.

 

well i have 2 accords... but id still like to do it once/right... but i might put built engine in eventually.
