Figured you guys would know about fuel/timing/spark management of FI setups. Ive also got a dohc zc @6psi in a gutted lexan'd crx hf. Ill talk more about that later.

My brother is building a zc motor (single cam) and hes going with 11.5:1 compression pistons and forged rods, also a pretty nicely built held and all the bolt ons you can think of.

Hes looking for run a 100-150 shiot of nitrous form his Zex dry nitrous kit.

What is the best way to manage his system under nitrous that is easy to tune for a new guy but the pros on the dyno have plently they can tinker with. The cheaper the better

I was thinking S-AFC but will that hold up. I think hes got DSM 550 or 440 injectors.

For one dry kits are only good for up to 75 shot. You need a direct port kit and the extra fuel is added via the jets and a high flow fuel pump.

Dry kits arent only good for 75 hp. Ive seen people spraying 100 all the time, just wonderring if there was anything that the zex box would get into the way with and would ---- something up. Obviously hed get bigger jets.

Also I know bigger injectors and a fuel pump, my question was in there a system that lets you manage high shots of nitrous with fairly high compression.

 

yes all of them would let you shoot nitrous into a high C/R chamber. Just a matter of it blowing up. Get your engine tuned on a dyno regardless of what you use.

And yes I am aware of people shooting 100shot of dry nitrous, but its your car and not mine. Im merely edumacating you that 100shot of dry nitrous is not the wisest thing to do.

Also to get 100 shot out of zex, I believe you just remove the pills and wahla!

yea i dont remember it correctly but you remove some pill and you'll get the 100shot. I dunno call ZEX up. I wasnt stupid enough to try the 100 dry shot of nitrous. haha =)

 

If you know these people running 100+ shot on zex kits ask them
