Default d16z6 swap on a crx, running obd0

ok guys, here goes my questions, since im running my car obdo i was wondering if i could just go ahead and copy the p28 fuel maps to the pm6 bin file and burn it onto my my pm6.

would it run better? would i also need the ignition maps?

have anyone done this before?

I also wanted to know about the same thing but using a pr3, so i can have vtec, I gonna have to uncheck the knock sensor and stuff like that.

please try to answer all my questions.

thanks!

Fide

i think youd be better off running base pm6 maps, and enrich the fuel a little over vtec crossover... i dont know how you could copy fuel maps from one to the other

Impossible. OBD1 uses an entirely different fuel numeric than OBD0. You can "convert" your maps to P28, but then again, you'll have to do some splicing because P28 has two different maps, Low and High cam for out and in VTEC, respectively.

would it run better?
It would run fine.

Yes.

Yes, I did it for a user named 'asm'. He doens't own a CRX anymore, but he said he gained almost a second over his original tune on his turbo CRX.

[b]If you're using a PR3, you could could "convert" both maps (you'd still have to interpolate some data because of the difference in row/columns (OBD0 is 15x17, OBD1 is 10x20) but it would work fine.

please try to answer all my questions.
I did.

thanks!
No problem..
