oppinions on turboxs BOV vs 1g DSM BOV

what are some oppinions for those who know, on difference between the turboxs BOV (for the lower boost apps.) compared to the 1g DSM's. Like the loudness and quality.
I heard turboxs is supposed to be damn loud

I have the turboXS RFL bov... And yes it is insanely loud. You can hear me blowing off from more then 1/2 mile away.. no joke.

I had that same BOV and unless you're breaching about 8 psi its gonna sound like your intake is farting.

you should be more concerned about the bov's performance quality's than how it sounds.. These things are for dumping the extra boost pressure when the throttle is slammed shut.. "does it work?" "does it work quickly?" These are the questions you should ask and not worry about such things as tone. Its about making power not sound.. Why not just use a trumpet for a bov it surely will sound pretty!

i would care how it sounds too....the fact that it doesnt leak is the second most important thing, because when i race i dont lift when i shift so it doesnt blow off anyway, but it is important that you have it set right so it dumps quick when you drive normal...i had a turboxs rfl and it was loud as ---- at 15psi, down low it whistled a little
