I was just wondering what kind of filters you guys are running on your set-ups? I know I wont have a lot of room on mine and was just wondering. I swore I saw someone somewhere running a foam cylinder green filter. I got a cone but it has a pretty big opening and my turbo is pretty small. I was thinking alot of people use wire mesh stuff too, but i just wanted to see what esle people are using.

i use a k&n cone made for a motorcyle..

 

adam had one of those cone filters on his hatch when he took it off on the dyno i think he made like 5-6 more hp.

I just put a cheap *** filter on my car, I drove my car without any filter for the winter(no dust and ----).
Now it's getting warmer here and there is a lot of dust...better to be safe then sorry

 

well lets think about this...$100 motor, $20 turbo, my cheap *** going to buy a filter and put it on...hummm...hahaha im buying a B-series motor soon, it will get a filter (and a brand new turbo)...

 

hmm got my filter for like 23 bucks(new)
turbo on the way 100 bucks newly rebuild, intercooler side mount 40 bucks, wastegate free, BOV from Bosch 15 bucks.
Still have to make my custom maniifold and teh pipings and downpipe.
Hmmmm fuel management that will come later gonna running without any at 5 psi see what this thing does.
Have a spare ZC in my shed heheheh
