what are the signs of yuor turbo being needed to be rebuilt? i tons of white smoke and no it's not the head gasket.

 

Any oil in the exhaust? Alot of shaft play? Oil in the charge pipes?

 

What is your oil pressure?

 

oil out the back could mean a number of things, leaking valves, rings, blowby. Check for oil in the exhaust piping just after the turbo.

 

there is oil in the downpipe and the headis freshly rebuild. 185 lbs of compression across the board. oil pressure is bout 15lbs at idle and 60lbs above idle.there is some up and down shaft play but not in and out.

 

I think the same thing happened to my t25. I still have 180 all the way across, but it don't pull as hard as it did. I noticed something was wrong when I checked my oil and found metal particles in it. But the motor does not knock. and I still has good compression. I still have not found the problem or solution, or even drove the car.I don't know if there's oil in the downpipe.
