heres the deal, I have a fully built Z6 head and a fully built Y8 tranny and looking for a block my buddy semi local has a Blocl from a EF SI D16a6 will my tranny bolt up seeing how its a hydro tranny? Please help asap!

yes they will bolt on. make sure u change the driver side motor mount on the a6 if your not using the ef chassis.
shouldnt this be in hybrid sec?

 

ahh, the newbies want some results, and they want if fast. Forget taking the time for someone to respond in hybrid.

 

Physically bolting to the block the trannys are interchangable. However if you want to put a Hydro tranny in your EF (4g civic/crx) you will have to fabricate your own mount for the pass side, and use the hydro rear bracket. Also will need to do some type of cable-hydro conversion.
