Some tool with 5 posts sends me a PM about how he doesnt know me nor does his buddy stealthy and I should send him the parts first then he will send me the money.

I dont think anyone falls for that ---- anymore? He need to keep that ---- scam on ebay...

I've actually had two people on ebay send me the product before paying. First was a 3 core sbc truck radiator, the guy was really cool so I paid him as soon as I got it (he said that way I could send it back if I didn't want it).

The next was some ******** who took weeks to reply to my email and sent me an sbc rv camshaft, tried to overcharge the ---- out of me on shipping and didn't include the lifters that were pictured in the auction. I contacted him and told him to send me the lifters and he will recieve payment.. guess he didn't want the money. Free rv camshaft for me

 

I did it once.I sent someone a Knock sensor when i hadnt even received the money..Of Course i knew the deal was gonna go smooth cause i had searched around and the guy was a Mod. on another board.

its just a lil xtra step that separates you from a good seller and an awesome seller..Of course you can't do that with everyone these days.There are just few ppl that you can take that risk.

the end result? 100% SATISFIED! he is a great guy.

we made a trade, he said that he'd ship his part on the following monday, and I told him i'd ship my part on the same day, and provide each other with confirmation numbers then.

It worked out that he got my part on wednesday, i got his part on thursday, and we are both satisfied.

It restores my faith in the human race when somebody is actually honest for once

TurboRR (Russ) is a local hockey friend of mine that I've convinced to go hmt. He's searching down the parts that I'm suggesting to him.
In TurboRR's wanted thread Sinner offered a bov, and another guy offered another. I told him he should get the other guys and to pm him and ask him if he would ship it to me, and I'd pay when I got it. I don't know the seller, never heard of him, and I'm not trying to get Russ caught up in a scam on the site I've been speaking so highly about.
Long story short, Russ sent the offer to the wrong person. :P
