'00 Grand Prix TT
Sure, this is mainly Honda, but what the hell.
A friend wants to twin turbo his Grand Prix (V6) with DSM parts from the salvage yard. Possible? What'll he need? He's gonna get two (?) turbos, BOV, IC, and wastegate. Custom exhaust manifold and downpipes. Does he need anything else? How high can he take the boost on stock internals? How much hp is he looking at? Any suggestions for boost control? Anyone know how much this is gonna cost him?
Thanks.

he needs to figure out how and what he will use to increase the fuel to his 6 pistons thats his main concern finding the other parts or making is the easy part, its finding the right fuel managment is the tough part, but im sure theres some out there but it might not be so cheap..
It sounds like your in over you head and don't know what your doing by the questions that you are asking. Do some more reasearch on the basics of turbocharging and you'll get the answers to alot of the questions your asking

Yeah, I know. But Hochstein (the guy with the Pontiac) asked me yesterday while I was on here, so I figured I would ask. I don't give advice, I just forward the advice of others.
Of course it is not the same, but there are guys here boosting other domestics, four cylinders maybe. Look into FMU's they are cheap and do their job for the low psi setups. Check to see if the fuel system will work with an FMU. Do check the differences of the GTP and the regular.
The GTP supercharged, if it is the same engine, might have things you can use, like bigger injectors and a boost tuned ECU, that might plug into your friends car.
You could use two dsm turbos, make your manifold and pipes and such, but fuel management is the biggest thing to research and consider.
