ok so i bought some heatwrap on E-bay for like 30$ this ---- was like 100ft 2in wide... anyways... i wraped my manifold, and my downpipe... and i start the car and went for a drive... after i went around the block that ---- started smelling like burnt popcorn and smoking like it too.... and im itchy like a ----------er..... WTF.... is it supposed to smell like that? And what do i do to get rid of the itchyness...

can u use that ---- on a reg. 4-2-1 header and will that stink go away ?

 

You can wrap your dick up with that ---- if you want to. The stink will be there for about 40 heating cycles then it will slowly go away.

there is definately fiberglass or silica fibers. I originally thought asbestos but probably not... Just take a COLD shower and try to scrub it off. From what I've learned from insulating some homes back in the day is NOT to take a warm shower, your pores will just open up more and the fibers will just go in more...

The itchiness will disappear.
