Sorry about the bad pic first of all. I cant get that fitting on any further. Is it alright like that or should I try and force it? As of now thats just finger tight.

 

get a piece of 3/8's or 1/2 metal and make a plate up. trace out a gasket and slap it on the metal. drilll out the holes and cut the edges.

then thread it with a 1/4" NPT tap.

this way when u wanna take off your oil feed line u dont have to unscrew that fitting.. just my way of doing it..

that looks more like an oil drain than a feed line.

 

the nipple is just in there to keep ---- outta the hole for now, a 45 degree NPT to AN fitting will go in there
