gsr vs ls under boost

Default gsr vs ls under boost

HI id like to start by sayin just how much crap ive learned from this site. Any way i currently have an 88 crx minime with matrix header, full exhaust, a TUNED ecu eprom and lots of paychecks of mods. I finally got tierd of my sohc and am trin to figure out what i should go with. From the $$$ stand point ive collected turbo parts for the past year and just need fuel/spark management to go boost. So the big question which acura engine would yeald a better street race car. ill only be pusing 4-7 psi on a t25 and wont have enough dough for a complete build for about a year. Any advise tips bla bla bla hit me up.

I would go GSR cuz VTEC sound kicks *** and if you REALLY want to go turbo you can just turbo that later, since you have all the parts already

yeah but with a DOHC you have more potential for power. Yeah its true you can rape alot of DOHC's with a properly tuned SOHC turbo but now who do you think would be ahead if that DOHC was finely tuned turbo'ed. No competetion. Vtec under boost is deadly. The LS produces slighty more torque but the GSR can rev slighty higher helping the turbo boost a lol more. the LS has very low rev capabilities. Plus it has Vtec and also is much more expensive. Parts for b18c's are much more rare and hard to come by than Ls parts and are much more expensive. But TurboEF9 is right, Anything isn't ---- unless you get it all to work together.

And a T-25 is too small for a GSR...
Quick spool up and no top end power...
