Default confused about UBER data logging

i'm getting ready to purchase a wideband and i'm contemplating on getting the m300 and data logg with UBER or m500 and call it good.

although i am kinda confused about how Uberdatalogg works... my understanding is that you need the rs232 and nokia phone wire... the Nokia wire connects to laptop? its that all of it?

let me know if i'm missing something b/c it just sounds too easy.

Anyone that can clear this up or give a how too would be great. They aren't very helpful over there at the Uberdata forum when it comes to this.

You don't need the RS232. The Nokia cable takes its place.

so then all i need is the Nokia/radio shack wire and the DB9 connector... what about USB driver when using UBER??

Uberdata forum is full of information but sometimes the forum moves too slow for me.

Evosol, Iam planning to wait a bit until they get it really ironed out. Then someone will do a how-to like Keeblers. Asking datalogging questions there is like pulling teeth.

You don't NEED the DB9 connector. He used that to make it "cleaner". Probably so he could unplug the cable from the ECU when its not in use.

ok... I got it figured out now... and i'll probably use the db9 connector, i like the fact that you don't always have a wire hanging off the ecu.

i just wanted to know in a hurry b/c then that way i could decide on which wideband... w/datalogging or w/o datalogging.
