Last night I got a D17 Block and crank for free. Its been sitting in his garge for a while. can you guess what I am going to do with it. Yep stroke my z6. My turbo will be going on here next week and soon as I order a new intercooler. I sold my other one to a friend. I have the block for sale if anyone wants to buy it. Its perfect. It even had the oil pan. I will ship it if you want. This will be in classifieds also. I will post some #'s when I dyno. It might be a while before I stroke it though. I have to get rods and pistons. HAHA. I thought about boring in it to but that would make the cylinders to weak so no. or i could just post them and hope for the best. I stoked

did you have a machine shop check out your cylinderwalls? that would suck if you had to get an overbore anyways.

 

No I don't have herpes. No, I rebuilt my motor when I was in high schoool. engine is fresh. All I had done to it was a clean up and honed the cylinder walls. I would like to trade a Z6 head for it though. That would be nice so I can port and polish the living ---- out of it then put my new crank, pistions and rods in. Then boost. I would like to see what I put down. All this ---- seems to come together all at once. If someone wants to trade that would be cool. or a Y8 head would work to.
