well i blew a headgasket a few days ago and at the worse time cuzz im really low on cash. My z6 head is also do for a rebuild. so i wastn too sure what i should do, just change the gasket and keep boosting with a messed up head or swap, but had no $$ for an engine. mmm what do to?
well turns out a friend of mine needed and ignitor and he had a single cam in his backyard. we traded for it. now i have another sohc. i traded a z6 tb for some coolant and some oil and nowi got everything i need for a quick swap.
total cost of sohc swap= 0 dollars. cant do that with a b series. oh ya i love this ----. now its time for a Y8 HMT build up. watch out stealh and hotrex im coming to get ya.......

 

Swap meet master. :P I wish I had local friends with Honda parts. I hate this town. If I needed a spare set of Euro clears I could get them.

Same here. I have to go to Cali where Stealthmode, D16z64life, RENR, Agent Murdoc, and a few others are if I want to hangout with REAL Honda guys. There are a few in AZ, but they don't have any meets. :P

D series motors are everywhere in so cal. Even the importers almost give them away. 225 for a sohc zc or a d15b vtec at soken. Gotta love the d.

 

ill do ya even better!!! I just got a whole 99 ex y8 drivetrain down to the wiring harness for free!!! im going to drop it into an oldschool mini. can you say total sleeper

 

Hell yeah... D-series parts are dirt cheap..... I was planing on selling out and getting a B-series swap... but everything would have come out to almost 2000... I quickly scraped that idea.... For ***** sake... i got a complete Z6 setup for 300$ and by complete I mean everything it needs to run... dropped that in... raped it... and now it smokes a bit... but no biggie... the old Z6 is getting fortified with some cheap SRP slugs, and SCAT rods... all in all a rebuilt beefed up Z6 for less than a grand... thats pretty ------- cheap... im gonna shoot for a modest 250-300 HP if i can get that...i can die a happy man

BTW i found some black top injectors from a 1st gen mitsu on friday at the yard.. only found 3 though..its cool though ... the guys said they alwayws get talons and eclipse's
