i think my turbo is on its last days..... ....it started happening about 3 days ago.....but ebery time i hit boost i smell oil burning and white smoke out of my exaust not hella smoke but is visible.....but its only when i hit boost then it goes away after a while.....im preety sure my turbo is done after about 3k miles and its prolly cause i never turbo timed either only a few timess

cant be my head gasket because my coolant doesnt foam or is discolored in any way and im not over heating....yeah my cat is on still too...

well i started with putting a different turbo a 14b and a needle valve which i swore to myself i would never use and to my suprise no smoke at all.....so it was my turbo to start with......i like the way the 14b sounds to when it spools..

 

I have the same problem with my T3. Smoking under boost. it's definately burning oil though. Blueish and smells like oil (I have a good nose). I'm thinking maybe I should try a needle valve and see if lowering oil pressure to the turbo helps.
