I blew a chunk out of one of my pistons in my zc. The block is in good condition so i figured im gonna replace the piston with a stock one temporarly. Will the pistons out of an d16a1 give me the same compression. Also im getting aftermarket pistons in a little. And if i were to get a6 pistons that were 9:1s what would the ratio be for the zc.

 

theoretically yes, the d16a1 piston will work fine.

 

yes they work! i have some from a d16a1 .... my OG ZC pistons were jaked from the trunk of my car a while back and i had to go to the junkyard and get them from a 89 teg...so yes they fit.
