I thought you guys might be able to appreciate the ghetto fabulous stylings of the 2001 Ford Escort ZX2 Turbo Project! Here's my FMIC project, if any of the pics don't work just click on the link under them.

Start with a JY Audi front mount (this is an ebay pic, I lost the one I had of the ic I'm actually using).

Realize this is just not gonna work in its present form and begin modification. I hole sawed two ports into the plastic end tanks and then JB welded some JY charge pipe ends (actually, one was a piece of sch 40 PVC ).

Apply a little paint (ricer gloss black, I didn't have any flat- please don't ban me for this )to cover up the JB weld goodness. Also check out my bracket- threadbar and metal band- works very well so far.

put up a pic of the front bumper on it, that could be nice n sleeperish, people will just think its a radiator, i like it

 

Same intercooler as mine but I made custom endtanks with 1/8 aluminum. Nice job though even though it's on a ford. Kidding!. HMT style lives on!
