So today i thought well I think I might try my step-dad's 96 4dr civic key in my 89 Si hatch....sure enough it worked, but not vice-versa, my old CRX key worked in 3 other hondas that i know of.... so this is one more theft problem that needs a fix...possibly a "hidden" kill switch maybe?

 

yes indead kill switch is a good idea......

you can open pretty much open any 89-91 Civic/CRX with a key from an accord from that same year.... I dont know why... freakn cheap *** keylocks....

you will sleep better at night knowing that if someone manages to break into it and start it... its only gonna turn over once and die right away... leaving the thief shitting bricks in your car...

 

yeah that how my ex friends broke into cars with out the alarms going off. I don't know how much ---- they stole. But they didn't really make alot of money and then they started come home with all kinds of cool stuff. Then I asked them where they got the ---- and they told. I move out that week. That ---- isn't cool.

 

Must have been cheap *** alarms. If my alarm is armed and I open my door with a key, it still goes off until I put the key in the ignition and flip the kill switch. I have an old *** Clifford Ace 500 that has been in my car since I got it 8 years ago.

 

my anti-theft device is Louis....and if I'm quick enough...you get to meet him.

I "Had" a kill switch on my fuel pump, but never armed it or my alarm cause it was in my Garage....Key word= HAD.

Now ive got two 1/4" Stainless Bolts through the garage door frame with the most expensive Master Lock I could find (45$ Some kind DENSE alloy)

Last tuesday someone tried getting into my garage AGAIN...didnt even budge the door...so they smashed the window of some Caddy in the parking lot

Im in the market for a new alarm now, and will get one with two sirens. One outside the car, and one under the dash thats extra loud, that'll make whoever go deaf when they stick their head under to rip it out. And then lock it with a Steering wheel lock...

Needless to say Im a bit paranoid
