Default T25, T3, IHI Rb5

in your guys opinion which would be good for a max of 8 psi? I heard the ihi turbo's run out of steam up top. But shouldn't it hold 8 psi all the way? As for the t3 i was thinking .42/.48 If you had to rank them, which would be the best for low 6-8 psi?

I'd go T3, that way later on when you upgrade the manifold will already be setup for something bigger like a t3/t4.

Next I would say go with the T25, they spool pretty good on d-series, and make power decently up to 12psi.

IHI would be the last choice, its definatly the easiest one to work with (since its so small) but really runs out of steam on d16 on the higher boost levels. But god damn they spool fast.

get the T3. if you can afford it skip that and get the T3/T4 to start with. I hate having to go back and change things. if that was your plan.

Im running the ihi, and it seems to be set at 9 psi on teh stock wastegate, pull hard, and i havent noticed run outta steam yet, but i havent had it above 6800, scared to, pulls so hard. Spool time, leaking exhaust before the turbo, is nice, i hit 5 psi at like 2000 rpms, but then i wont hit 9 until 3300, but thats becasue of the exhasut leak, i bet ill hit 9 psi at 2800 with it all sealed up.

go t3. you'll be happy. you dont want to spool at like 2k, makes daily driving annoying.

I get full boost at like 4,000 rpms and if it's raining that means tire spin. Hell even when it's dry out if I have my foot to the floor my tires break loose around 5,000 rpms in 1st and 2nd gear. I can also go easy on the gas and not boost at all which helps save a little gas. Freeway driving would be hard too if your car spooled really quick.

my opinion is dont get a t25...it takes 12+ psi of boost to make good power...
