i just re built a f22a block with a f22b1 head, i took off the idle air control valve because the one for the f22b intake man didnt match the pluge for the f22a wire harness, i also took off evry thing that has to do with ac and power stearing. for fuel mangement i am runing a vafc with 450 injecotrs. the problom is i jumps around at idle from 2000 to 2700, so i messed with the idle air control to get the idle to smoth out (some of the time) but when it dose smoth out its at 2500. and when the TB is totley closed its still sucking vac, any ideas?

 

sounds like you have a vac leak.. did u plug up all the holes where the iacv was? how did u plug them?
