Default which one spools quicker T-25 or IhI Rhb5

I have a 12a(off of a Starion) on my car and it doesn't spool until about 3500 I know it will do good on top end but I want quick spool from the line. Which turbo spools quicker a t-25 mitsu or a ihi from fords, mazdas, and subaru's or which do you guys(also gals) prefer.

Well the IHI turbo is smaller so I am guessing it will spool quicker. Spool is gay though and 3500 rpms aint bad at all. Lag = traction control...

ihi is for auto-x. it will spool first. too small for drag/all out speed.

In the world of chysler turbo'd cars the 12a is the little bastard one.

I had a friend with a '90 Probe GT and man the IHI sure did like to take off, no problem at all to get that car up to 120mph, but it did like to run out of wind in compared to the size of that ford motor.

I really like the T25, my brother has a '97 GST and he doesn't want to swap turbos, loves that little thing. If the 12a and T25 share the same flange (I don't think they do, but if they did) then your swap to a T25 would be the easiest.

The ideal turbo setup on the '90 Integra I have sitting waiting for my work is going to be a T25, I'm more of a low rpm range power guy and the unmodified T25 likes to start spooling at 2500rpm

Stick with the bigger turbo man. Hondas make there power at high rpms so pick a turbo that matches. My turbo is bigger than all the ones you have listed and I am really glad I don't have a smaller turbo.
