Default Try to finish my kit... some last minute noobie q's...

I am putting the finishing touches on my kit and should be installing in a couple of weeks... Just had a few questions that are really retarded, but...

1) How do you drill a hole through the firewall? I saw a little plug under the dash, but there's something on the other side and I don't like the idea of drilling blindly in either direction.

2) Is there any way to grind out injector inserts w/o a dremel or "old" intake manifold? I tried a drill at low RPM's and a sanding bit (holding the insert in my hand) and it was a disaster. Just need some tips or a clue.

3) I plan on using a V-AFC with 440 injectors at around 6 to 8 PSI. I am going to have it tuned, but I was just curious how it would run initially with just the hack?

4) Do you guys have a recommendation for where to run the BOV's vacuum line? The only turbo setup that I've ever looked at in detail (I know, just one!?!) had everything running off the FPR vacuum line. He doesn't seem to have any problems, but still.

5) Air filter. I might use a screen for a little while until I can get my cone filter on. Does anyone have any problems with water getting in there?

Wow... That's it. Feed me.

1. With a drill. Better yet, find an existing grommet and use it.

3. Do some math comparing 440 to your stock injector size in CC. That'll be your 'base'. richen the ---- out of it, then lean as you tune. Wait until you hear detonation, then richen it a tad (thats a joke of course)

4. FPR is fine as far as I know.

5. Find a way to mount a filter. My friends with turbo hondas use some kind of duct work plastic ---- from home depot and it works fine.

4. You can tap into that big vac hose that runs to your brake booster, Thats a better source.. personally i would never mess with the fpr.
5. You can get by with just a screen mesh, but its not ideal for daily driving, get a cheap filter
Everything else.. What he said
