yo....i've had pretty good luck locating t3 turbos from t-birds and other turbo fords. so i'm thinking of snatching one up soon for my low boost ghetto setup. Is this turbo big enough for a gsr motor?

i'll be running 6-7 lbs

 

1. next time give some specs on the turbo, what the a/r?
2. read the faq
3. look on the project page and see what other people have done
4. use the search feature

doing this will save you from asking the stupid newB questions, as well as save you from the severe flaming you will recieve

well, i don't know the specs, because i don't have the turbo.

let me see if i can find out.

 

.60, .63 that's the one

 

that's fine for a gsr.

 

A .63 will give you a little lag on the low end, but gives you tons of power all the way to redline.

 

lag = traction control

 

yeah, the .63/.60 will be ------ sweet on that motor

 

that will be good on the GSR even the .60/.48 will do ok as well... thats what I'll be using on the B16 but it just wont pull as hard in the high end, but shiet I drive around daily in the 3-5k range anyways...

 

yea thats how ive always said. lag is like traction control for our cars.
