I actually bought an 88 dx tranny today. It wasn't till I got home and really checked it out that I learned it's useless on my 89. :P

if you change the input shaft on the 88 and use an 89-91 it will work

 

i have a 90 civic dx trans you can have dude just come pick it up....and if you dont feel like taking it without giving me something then ill take one of your nifty oil lines!!!! :P

wait i dont knwo if it will work..i think its a 21 spline. unless you have a flywheel from a 89-91 civic adn the clutch... i beleive 88 civics use 20 spline trannies aswell as the crx of any year from 88-91. and the hatches and the 4 doors use a 21 spline. but im not sure so dont quote me boy......
