i just disconnected my turbo from exhaust manifold because of a lot of smoke... and got oil in both exhaust and intake side of turbo. =( that is second turbo i am trying to setup on my z6. first even dont want to blow any boost... tommorow i will try to find someone who can repair that turbo, but it's VNT and prive may be too high to carry it.. i am so tired... 4 weeks and no good results. =(

one good thing that i know what is boost on civic now and it wonderful =))

 

Pcis Too bad to hear, just get another turbo, rebuilding one costs alot.

heh. i am not in US, and even not in canada =) i am from belarus.. someone even will be unable to find that country =))) if i say someone there that i am installing turbo on my civic they say that i am crazy and i must buy just another car =)

about bying another turbo... it's again new flanges, new chargepipes and dp to weld..

 

no, just get the same kind of turbo and it will bolt right up. what kind of turbo do you have right now? what country are you in?

 

The only person here that is remotely close is probably Tomo in Poland, which is right next door to southern Belarus. Anyone else around there that can help him out?

 

i dont know even what is that turbo. it has a/r .61 exhaust and a/r .53 compressor. but it is VNT =) cool turbo to play, but cost a lot to repair. i've got it for only 90 bucks and now i have such problems. i've found two person who said that they can rebuild it, so today i will drive to him on moms Ford Ka =) and shom em that turbo. i really want it to be rebuild.
