hi all, was wondering if someone could give me a hand obtaining some pistons and rods for my car. The car is a d16a9, and I have been told this matches the same spec as a ZC DOHC. I am looking for some pistons and rods of standard bore size and soem that will lower my compression slightly so my turbo setup will run better/more reliably. I am also from the UK so am looking to get them shipped over? does anyone have any part numbers to hand? phone numbers for suppliers? or links to any websites to help me get the ball rolling?
any help would be great, i'd hate to spend all that money on shipping the wrong parts accross, thanks

 

Use your stock rod's those won't effect compression get Pm6 rod's your compression will be at the 8.2 or 8.3:1 mark
pretty low, but good for boost, but i would stay with the stock compression though.

 

semnos... u mean pm6 pistons right?? ... also, if ur gonna change ur pistons/rods, just get some forged aftermarket pieces... most of the time, it's the rods that go, so even if you do "bandaid" ur tuning w/ lower compression, horsepower will hunt those litte toothpics we call piston-rods...

 

im definitely looking to go aftermarket just for piece of mind... anyone know some contact sites/numbers for good prices on these couple of items?
