hey guys, I was wondering just what the subject implies. What is the most horsepower any of you have been able to get to the wheels on a non-turbo, non-supercharged, non-nitrous D-series setup?

ok and that would be the time for a quarter-mile pass.... would anyone care to share some actual HORSEPOWER numbers? And if he's running 11s on all motor, how much $$$ do you have to put into the engine to get something like that?

 

more $$$ than the average bear. look up motor components on a search engine, the compare those products to ones you could buy used. shop around and find how much cash you need.

 

Bisi's car isnt a street car either..

I would think 160-180 to the wheels on a ALL out D-series would be pretty normal

Yea those redline guys use a masive
stroker kit with a 2'" thick deck plate welded
to their blocks. They say they sell very streetable
200 hp D series lumps

 

thats pretty good for a d series engine i never really knew they could be that fast cause all you hear about is b16's
