i have a d16y8 with a mitsu t25 right now but i want a bigger turbo. what t3 would best fit my engine and easiest to work with?

I love my turbo.

 

I'm interested in this turbo. Did you get it new or used? If new, how much and where did you order from?

Lastly, what manifold/adapter plate did you go with? TIA

 

I got it brand new remanufactured off eBay from "down2turbo" for $310 shipped. I guess he upped the prices though so they are around $400 now. I have a custom manifold made with a T3 flange.

 

is that .60 intake and .48 exhaust
does that turbo come out of a certain car? what RPM range does it pull the best?

how many people on here are using a saab t3 turbo on a sohc? My friend has one of these that he says he will sell me. How is fitment and where does it spool at?

 

from what I've heard and seen, the fitment is good, Hoohaaa2's sohc it fit great in even with the AC, I've also been told that it spools up at 3200 rpm's (some one correct me if im wrong) I'd say go for it. =Good luck doode
