Well now that Im boosted my engine bay gats way too hot!Even running the fan on a manuel switch doesnt really seem to help much in trafic.

Ok.I think I want a carbon fiber hood with vents.NOT A SCOP.Is this ricey?Im doing it for function and form.

what to choose?

 

I think a really big wing would help out alot. :P

I would think of something else to lower underhood temps.

Well Im going to be getting a Flexalite or Permacool fan but with the I.C up front it seems like it slows down the airflow regardless.Im just looking at imrpoving airflow .

I like the bottom one, or the third from the bottom.

 

I think they all look like ***, but that's just my worthless opinion. :P If you're going to get a CF hood, just get one with no scoops, but I guess that defeats the purpose of you buying the hood in the first place. I would rig some vent pipes to bring air into the engine bay. I know you can work magic with PVC. Kinda like how they do it in Nascar.

You could also get some Z3 fenders. That would help cool things down. I think Danny might sell you his. :P

umm, i really hate them all and wouldent put one of thoes on my car, i would modify my stock hood before buying one of thoes ulgy ones...

 

Im really leaning towards this one.



I was thinking of rigging something up like that Doc.Well see waht i can come up with before I drop 5bills on that hood.
