some wierd ---- has been going on...when i was at the dyno i think we had it up to like 10-12psi, but now the car isnt going above 10psi and the ------ screw is all the way out!!! and im pretty sure i had some room for more boost. i have it hooked up just like on the website, one side going into the TiAL and the other side going to a vacuum source on the back of the intake manifold... need to get this bitch up to 12-14psi for the track tomarrow

 

poke some holes in the line doesnt that make it go up a bit?

 

is it the cheapy low performence grade turboxs mbc because they tend to have probs
a friend has it on his mazdaspeed and has boost spiking probs,he knows it was the mbc because he opgraded to the next level up turboxs mbc and it was all G!

 

I used a TurboXs MBC with an internal WG and had no problems.

I have the exact same one and it seems to work fine.

 

well tonight i put a different hose on the boost controler cuz it was going under the dizzy and getting oil all over it (shitty hose was soaking it in)...and turned down the boost controler about half way, still hitting 9psi...im thinking that is a good sign, but dont really want to test right now cuz its 5am

 

i'm usin that same one, and my boost drops off from 9 almost down to 5. it might also be from runnin a .42 .48 on a b16.

 

EJ1 Wilcox on here just bought one and it didnt work for ---- either. tial wg at 8psi normally suddenly was hitting tons more boost no matter where he set it. mine works fine.

 

what's the gold part on the left? there's another screw in there that seems to be adjustable?

mine doesnt have that gold part, just a flat plug.
