Default D16A6 Turbo 1.2 bar

I plan on running supra pistons with b16 rods on my a6. the turbo I plan on using is a 16g, how much boost can the engine handle? I will also be using an intercooler.
how much horsepower to the wheels can I safely make?

on a previous post there was a guy who had guaranteed 1.2 bar or 18psi using the turbo supra pistons with machined b16 rods with out the use of a block guard or sleeves or is it just that the turbo is useless beyond 13 psi and therefore i should use a t3/t4 hybrid ?

"guarante" doenst mean ----, you can blow a motor fully sleeved with forged pistons and heavy rods at 8psi if not tuned right.

what will i need in terms of engine management and tuning to get the engine with that setup run a max of 18 psi without breaking anything?

a 16G turbo will make more boost than prob. any D-series can handle. If it can make over 20PSI on a 2.0L, then it can make even more on a D16.

18psi?
I personally would never boost that high without any type of real engine managment, meaning standalone or a very impressive piggy back system.

The engine will need to be complete rebuilt for this, forged pistons, huge rods, some type of sleeve support.

Not only will you need engine parts, but 18psi you will need to have a extremely strong clutch, and without LSD in your tranny, it would be pretty stupid because 1 tire can only do so much.

You are basically looking at spending around 3-4 grand if not more to run that much boost safely.
