I just did a tranny swap because my other tranny is broken, Well when I went for a test spin the I took it slowly and then I heard a pop. Well after this pop I couldnt move. At first I thought it was my brakes, but its not. I can put it in any gear and I only hear a little clicking noise and my MPH goes up. Any idea what this could be?

check your axles. they poped out.

How the hell do your axles pop out??

 

if you don't put them all the way into the trans until they click they will slip out just enough that the teeth don't engage the trans.

 

 

I had a similar problem. After the sawp mine would not get in gear, and when it did the car would run but die when I stopped. It was the clutch cable, after I adjusted it, the car ran fine. Of course after the POP you need to check your axles again. make sure they are in there correctly.
