Default What the ---- could cause this??

WEll my cars in the shop show im driving my buddys 98 gst for the day. I drop him off then park it at the house. Then I hop in to drive to the gas station and the thing just totally looses power (not electrical but hp). It starts going slow *** hell and feels like I'm riding a 10 hp gokart. Then when I stop at the light it cuts off, and everytime I press the clutch and the rpms fall it cuts off unless I give it some gas. I bring it home pop the hood and the radiator reservoir is bubbling like a motherefucker but the temp gauge says the car is straight. What the hell could be wrong

check the exhaust for coolant, if its wet in there then it means you have a busted head gasket.

The other possibility is that the timing belt skipped a tooth.

Sorry when I say wet, I mean it will have the smell of coolant. Some exhaust is just wet because its water You have to sniff your fingers after you rub it.

I'm thinking head gasket maybe. I looked under the car and the whole exhaust was steaming. How the hell would it just blow out like that though. I mean this came on out of no where. Who can I check and see if the belt skipped a tooth? I'm not going to rip the head off til he gets here. Can I still check it without taking the head off?

Just went out to check the stuff on the exhaust and that it wasnt antifreeze. It was OIL! It was making some knocking/vibrating sounds when it would get to 2500-3000 so maybe I should just start looking for holes in the block.
