Default Question on Stock Ls Sleeves

I want to hit mid 13's in my 93 teg and im wondering how much hp can the stock sleeves hold? I ve heard u should sleeve if ur goin to make 300 or more is this about right? Or is it more about how well ur motor is tuned?

the first posts usually get me. if you think your sleeves won't hold, do what I did to my LS block:

would i be better of posting or using a blockguard? Ive heard good and bad things about both.

blockguard is hated on hmt, block posts are loved. click on the link that I posted up there to know everything you ever needed for block posting ever.

Yea ive heard if you ant get the block guard in right u get hot spots. So what are you using for the posts, is it a kit and how much is it?

Block posts are the worst thing you could ever do to your motor. Your better off hitting the sleeves with a hammer a couple of times and save the $30.00
