I have been boosted for about 5 weeks now without a filter so I decided it was time to at least get a screen. I have a gay *** compressor inlet so I had to order a flange from road race engineering to even put a screen on there. I could have just made a flange from a piece of metal, but I am lazy. I went to home depot and found the mesh sceen I wanted, but they only had it in football length rolls and I only needed a little piece. I was making frozen orange juice the other day and thought the food strainer I was using would be perfect. Well I was really bored so I took a few pictures of the project.


So in to the kitchen I go.

Now it's out to the garage and the first thing you have to do it turn the radio on. I prefer country music while I am working in the garage.

This tool worked out pretty well.




Here is the finished result.




If your trying this at home make sure you throw away the remaining parts of the strainer so your mom doesn't find it. If she asks where the strainer is just say I don't know and quickly change the subject.

I haven't been trying too hard to sell the truck. I might end up keeping it anyways. I actually already told my mom and she was cool with it. I am just warning you guys.

Like I said earlier I am a lazy ***. This is at least a 2 day project for me so I will get the screen on my turbo tomorrow.

 

I truely have a whole new respect for you Pat. Country music and Republican talk radio is all I can handle.
