I have a conversion kit for aluminum on my MIG welder right now. All it is basically is a replacement liner thats made from plastic and not metal. You'll need aluminum wire and straight argon gas. It is the most sensitive thing ever to weld and it'll fight you the whole time. I personally wouldn't reccomend it cause its a really really big bitch

we use a spool gun and straight argon gas. the gun is nice, it takes the small rolls of wire, but its kinda heavy and unbalanced
