for an 89 Civic? I just got a quote for like $100 per side for the upper arms. If I'm going to pay that kind of money I want something aftermarket. I have looked all over hell and can't find anything. I don't want to buy these damn things. Why the ---- do they have to weld the ------- ball joints to the control arm? That's ------- retarded. If I'm going to do this, I would like to be able to just buy the ball joints for the next time so I don't have to buy a new front half of a car just to replace some ball joints.

Can I use something for a 92-95 somehow?

the 92-5 bolt up the same weay but i dont know if there a perfect match. i know spoon sports makes an aftermarket upper controll arm but its for camber conrrection but its the whole arm.

 

u can probably use them from a 92, remember that all civics from 90-00 use the same shocks (style)

 

but the CRX struts are diffrent from a 92-00. if you use a 92-00 strut on a crx it will screw with the car.

I wonder if I have to find out the hard way?

I couldn't find either one. They make them for 92+, but not 89.

Onyx, yeah I think they do have replaceable upper ball joints. That's what it looks like anyways.
