hey..i am putting a t4 supra mkIII turbo on my 97 civic dx. i know its not the best engine, but its all i got. does anyone know how much boost the engine will take without doing internals? i just wanted to put new injectors and change and few things with the fuel. thanks.

 

7 psi ifyou intercool it max.

gonna have to hella mod turbo to get it to put out only 7psi but im not sure your engine willturn it haha JK

read all turo projects on this site and you'll get a feeling for what boost you can run on so ans so setup

 

A T4 turbo would hardly spool on a stock d16, you are going to need some serious mods to even make that thing work correctly. Even the larger B18/B20's have incredible lag with the 60-1 / 62-1 T4 turbos.

pretty much, your best bet would be to try and trade it with someone who is looking to upgrade. Get the specs off of it, We have a T3/T4 hybrid that you may like...
