Default 186K Mile Turbo A6 slowly falling

Well, I had a great spring break... Just built a custom 2.5" exhaust with dynomax race muffler and there's a nice improvement in power. I've had the turbo on the A6 for one year now and it had 200 compression in each cyl. for the first 10 months and now it has:

120 - 140 - 110? - 180

Ouch! I'm not sure if the readings were off or not, but I question it. If I turn it over a few more times, I can get it to reach about 180 in each cyl except the 3rd one and I believe it's the piston rings that's causing the pain. No smoke and it runs perfect, but I'm going to rebuild it over the summer. Should I build it up for boost using H beam rods and forged pistons? I know H beams are like $300, but what's the total cost I'm looking at here? From the head, the cylinders, the block, bearings, etc.. full rebuild... How much is it going to be? BTW, I'm doing all the labor except the obvious things I can't do (rehoning, etc..) I'm guessing it will be like $1300 or so... hmmm. New motor mounts too, btw.

I would like to run about 14 psi on the street. Any suggestions?

1300 is a little low. If your doing a full rebuild you need to look at gaskets, bearings, machine work, oil pump and water pump. I'm think more in the 2000 range if done right.
