ive been running a pr4 on a 1.5 with a small turbo safely for 3 weeks it actually runs rich which is ok. it hesitates a little then it clears out after a while I have a smc-dual and 450s but they are nothing but problems

 

Huh? No, you are not running it "safely". Post pics of your fucked up pistons when you get a chance.

I don't know, I have a buddy with a greddy kit on a rex that's running a low 5psi, with stock fuel system/timing. He's driven it (almost) every day, dragged it, and did track days with multiple 20 minutes session of full boost and non stop visits to redline over and over, pure toture on the engine. It's still running perfectly to this day amazingly.

 

Spork doesn't your buddy have a blue box/e-manage on his car? Doesn't 310's come with that kit?

So, you aren't using the SMC and the 450's, correct?

You do realize with no fuel management your motor is going to take a very fast ----, right? I don't see why you would want to do that.

my plugs were black too, so were were the top of my pistons, they looked like they were burning nice, but the ringlands are in peices in all 4 pistons. and I was running 5psi on a small t-3 (42/4.
