Default timing d16

i no theres a service plug u have to ground out to do it...
the motor is a d16y7.. help a brotha out with some info

alright.. im a ------- idoit... i no.. here it is again
i just got done swapping a y7 into my 92 civic... all i need to no is if there is a service plug i need to ground out.. in order to time the car..

I don't think so. Just hook up your riming light to the battery and the #1 spark plug wire and look at the marks on the pully. Unless I am wrong?

You have to jump the service connector. Same place when checking for cel. Its located underneath the glove box by the kick panel. Its the brown and white/green. Just get a paper clip and stick in between those two pin. Then you can do your timing

Or when your done, just reset your ecu! I think it works just the same! And the fuse for the ecu is in the engine bay in the fuse box!
