Default Honda F1 Engine Swap for my Del Sol **Big Image!**

I'm wanting to swap this engine into my car:

Yea...right!

This engine is crazy. It's a 1.5L V6 TT. "Detuned" to 680HP @ 14,000 RPM. Look how short the rods are and how little small the stroke is.

I have all the data in "Engine Analyzer Pro." Screenshots:

The short block:

The head:

The late 80's were insane for the F1 forced induction car. At one point they were at 1600hp in a 2,000lb car. At that point they decided it was time to regulate cause it was getting too dangerous.

A v6 making that kinda of power! How come in NASCAR (I don't watch) the cars are supercharged (thats what I was told) not turbo charged, wouldn't they get better top-end off a turbo? And also look at the F1 cars' are TT NASCARs' are friggin' v8's.... This just generally confuses me. TT v8's usually kick some major ***. And just look at what the 8 or 9 sec. mustangs are they are turbo'ed. Italian cars are usually v8,v12,h8 right? Can some one find me some good info on Italian cars, I mean what is the huge friggin' hype on them, I mean they can run mid 12's some of them but if I would pay over even just $50,000 bucks on a car I bet I could get it in there and maybe alot more. Why on earth would any one pay over $100 Grand on a car? I mean they look cool but with some fiber glass and too much time and a bit of money you can make any thing look like them. I seen a 91' celica look really close to a Enzo I will look for that pic.

wow, ignorance is bliss

nascar is ahighly regulated form of racing. the engines are around 358ci and naturally aspired v8s. with huge restrictions on how much air they can intake.

chevrolet
358ci
720@8500 rpm
525@6000 rpm
4 speed manual
holly 750-850 cfm 4 bbl carb

Its called stock car racing becuase thats the idea, the cars are really close to stock, where formula 1 race cars are based on technology. Jeff Gorgon and one F1 driver switched cars for a day and Gordon said the F1 car was more than he could handle cause the g-forces are soo intense. F1 cars are pulling the same g's as fighter jets, now thats just ------- amazing
