Yea, so our good buddy Onyx (Wyatt) is stuck with his Z6 swap. It's not starting

The ECU (PM6/OBD0) is getting power, all grounds are secure (contiunity beep) and main relay is clicking. He tried starting it by feeding the starter solenoid 12V directly and all it does is click. I suggested a little love tapping, but that didn't seem to work. Surely the starter isn't dead? We hung up with going to push start it by himself..poor guy, he needs some HMT love!

Here it is:

D16Z6 block/head, a6 intake, a6 exhaust, HF tranny (blows chunks). I set it up to act like a stock A6 but its not working! help! PLEASE!

 

is there compression that happened to a eclipse i had and i found out i blew the head gasket

 

If you put 12v directly to the starter solenoid and the car doesn't crank its a bad starter, or it's not meshiing correctly. Or the motor is locked up. and this is in the wrong forum.

 

Yea, he disconnected wht/blk wire and applied 12V directory and nada. Took starter off and tried to have it freewheel...nada. Mr. Starter took a dump!

stupid question...is the tranny ground connected?
did you connect power and ground directly to starter to test?

 

Everything is grounded and i have tripple checked it all, the starter was replaced and i can hear the gear shoot out but it cannot push the motor over, i can hand turn the engine with no problems. the engine has 80k miles on it. I get to pull the ****** again tomorow and look to see what the ---- happened god damnit.

 

Maybe a fucked up spot on the flywheel? Strange..
