Hey I have a 97 civic ex with a d16y8. I bought an IHI turbo and and intercooler from a friend. I don't really know what all I need to do as in upgrades for my car before I put it on to handle the boost? And where do I buy a map censor? And how much should it cost? I want more than just 6 or 7 lbs of boost. I have a few mods but not much. Thanks.

you dont need to buy a map sensor, unless your stock one is bad.. you can get a "missing link bypass valve" that fits under your map sensor, which hides positve pressure from the map sensor.

That turbo will run 8psi, so I recommend some larger injectors and a controller to pulse them slower (AFC/450cc dsm injector hack)

Unless you modify the wastegate actuator to lower the boost somehow.
