will my guage still be accurate?
Hey... i was going to tap my air fuel ratio guage in to my o2 sensor. But i accidently fucked that up (dont ask) so know im going to run it in to my ECU instead. With my o2 sensor having a cut wire will my ECU hooked up Air fuel ratio guage still be accurate?
It's not the gauge that is your limitation. It's your O2's technology. It wasn't created to gauge exotic A/F ratios. It was designed to gauge stoich (14.7:1). The voltage curve for a single wire O2 is about 0.92v ~14.2:1, to 0.05v ~15.2:1, that's it.
You will need a wideband O2 w/ controller to get more accuracy, and greater spectrum.
