d16a6 for $600??
is this a good deal?? its a 91 d16a6, has a bullfrog race can and the intake and head has been ported..it comes with trans, ecu, harness and everything else..he wants 600buck for it?? should i take it or make a lower offer

Well you know the engine has been raped up the *** if it has all the ---- down to it.. Have you test drove the car with that engine installed? how does it sound? I would be a bit learly on spending that much, on that without hearing the engine run. Hopefully its ok..
If you are getting the trans with it.. 500 bucks is a pretty decent deal.

I picked up my d16a6 for 100 cnd with tranny..... there are deals out there you just gotta serch...
what you looking for I can get a block for 70 cdn if you wanna pay shipping from canada. whole engine for 130 cdn with harness and everything including ECU
but then i would have to pull it for you so i would want some cahs for moi

Man i wish i could get one for that cheap. The stupid wreckers here in alberta want 600 for the engine without tranny with like 200+ kms on it that has not been rebuilt and bone stock. I asked then how much they wanted for a std manifold and they said... $125. OMG give me a------- break, some wreckers are peices of ----. I really don't know how they can expect ppl to pay those prices and make money at the same time...

i got D15b Vtec motor shipped to me $514 ( had 43K Km )total though it took about 14 days to get to me ( ground friehgt )
the engine cost $300 with sorted wiring harness
shipping , handling and insured was $214
whatch out folks shipping is where you get ripped on .. shiping from 2 states for 200lb load should have been cheaper.
I didn't pursue the shipping cost my time is been spent on my education.
there ok for what you get.
motor was filthy with soot
dizzy was shipping its own box
MAP and TPS also removed and shiped in serprate box
engine was covered with Auto batting ( the fire wall pad )
