d16y7 - jdm d15.. DIY Or Pay?
Ok well heres my decision. I can either pay like $400 and have a shop install my d15 or get some friends together and do it myself. Is there anything really that hard with the swap? I really dont think its worth paying more than the motor for installation cost. heh. If anyone has tips lemme know. Thanks.

So I wanna make sure of everything before its done.
you can do it over a weekend easily. When i first started i think the two hardest steps to swaping motors where breaking the joints and breaking the crank pulley, in my case i found out its easier to break the pulley while its still in the car, you can do it either way... just make sure you have the proper tools. for the joint i use a "C" tie rod joint pusher/puller thinggy.
your IACV on your y7 is setup for is basically an automadic IACV and its 3 wire and not 2. also the throttle possition sensor gets broke by exsessive pull on it from the way the Y7 harness is setup, i would extend it out a bit.
